Kerguelen 2nd part
1: Petite ballade entre Amsterdamois au premier
jour de notre arrivée sur Ker. Adrien, Severine, Cecile, Pierre, Gabriel,
Cyrille et moi. Little walk around the camp the first day on Kerguelen
with the Amsterdam team: Adrien, Severine, Cecile, Pierre, Gabriel, Cyrille and
me.
2, 3, 4: Elephants de mer / Elefant

5: Promenade vers la Anse du Pacha au second
jour. Moi, Adrien Gabriel Severine et Cyrille. / Walk to the "Anse du
Pacha" on the second day. Me, Adrien Gabriel Severine and
Cyrille
6: Promenade du 3eme jour (et oui on avait que ca a
faire... enfin presque!) avec beaucoup de vent!!! Adrien Cyrille et Gabriel.
Walk on the third day with a lot of wind (we were not so busy and had a
lot of free time!!!) Adrien Cyrille and Gabriel
7: Durant la ballade on est passé a coté des
batiments du CNES (centre national d'etude spatial) Surgit au milieu de nule
part dans ce décor lunaire! / CNES Building (French center for spatial
research) in the middle of nowhere, just like on the moon!
8: A cause du trés fort vent, j'ai du sortir le
masque de ski!! Tres pratique! / Because of the strong wind, i used my ski
glasses! Very usefull in this part of the world
9: Cyrille Gabriel et Moi sur le terrain de rugby
(si si!!) de la base situé à au moins 2km!! Il faut vraiment etre motivé pour
aller jouer! / Cyrille, Gabriel and me on the rugby field, 2km far'from the
base! Motivation required to go there!!
10: La Base vu de derriere au retour de la
promenade / The base seen from behind at the end of the
walk
11: Le panneau directionnel qu'on trouve sur toutes
les bases, histoire de ne pas oublier a quel point on est loin de toute
civilisation! Prochaine étape Amsterdam, encore 1300km. / The shield you can
see on every district just to remind you how isolated you are! Next step:
Amsterdam, 1300km to go.
