Manipe au Pignon / walk to the Pignon

Petite manipe à la journée à 4. Le temps sur base au départ n'était pas trop mal, mais l'Olympe et tout le coeur de l'ile était dans les nuages. Ici, on est a la cloture, premier stop avec un point radio avec la base pour dire que tout va bien et qu'on continue notre chemin. Sécurité maximale!!!

Little walk for one day with 4 people. The weather on base was nice but in the middle of the island, it was very cloudy. At that time we are at the fence, first stop with radio communication with the basre to say that every thing is fine and we keep going on... Maximal safety:!!

Dès la Caldeira, on a pris un gros vent d'ouest dans la figure avec des rafales à plus de 120km/h qui nous couchaient presque. Comme on etait dans le brouillard, en moins de 10min, on s'est retrouvé trempé de la tête aux pieds. C'est le début de l'hiver austral, les conditions météo seront progressivement de moins en moins favorables

As from the Caldeira we had a strong west wind in the face (more than 120km/h) It was very hard to stay standing. As we were in the fog, after less than 10min, i was completly wet! The austral winter is starting  and the weather will be less and less good for big walk around the island!

Arrivé au Pignon en seulement 2h30 (trés belle perf), c'est la pause casse croute.  Adrien a besoin d'un gros casse dale a base de petit Lu et de lait concentré sucré!

At the Pignon, after 2h30 of walk (very good performance!!!) snack for Adrien and for us too!
